You can, however, play the PS4 version on PS5 via backwards compatibility, and presumably use your save data. It makes sense, considering the games have separate trophy lists it’s essentially a different game. Insomniac also confirmed that you’ll not be able to carry over your save from the PS4 version of the game to Spider-Man: Remastered on PS5. It will have no physical release, and it’s so far unclear if it will be made available outside of the Ultimate Edition.
